At LaserLogbook, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. This page explains how users can permanently delete their account and what happens to their data after deletion.
How to Delete Your Account
LaserLogbook allows users to permanently delete their account directly within the app.
To delete your account:
Open the LaserLogbook app.
Navigate to Account Settings.
Select Delete Account.
Follow the confirmation prompts.
Please note that account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
What Data Is Deleted
When you delete your account, the following information will be permanently removed from LaserLogbook-controlled systems:
Account information
Profile information
Cloud-synchronized settings
Community profile information
Uploaded photos and files associated with your account
Other personal information associated with your account
Once deleted, this information cannot be recovered.
Community Content
If you have shared settings, photos, notes, or other content with the LaserLogbook community, deleting your account may remove that content from LaserLogbook servers and community listings where technically feasible.
However, content that has already been downloaded, exported, saved locally, or otherwise retained by other users may continue to exist on those users’ devices. LaserLogbook cannot delete, modify, or control copies of content that have already been downloaded or saved by other users.
Delete individual data
Users may also delete individual content without deleting their account in the community section. This includes community posts and other user-created content directly within the app.
Navigate to the “My Shared” tab within the community section and delete individual entries directly inside.
Data Retention
Certain information may be retained when required by law, to prevent fraud, to protect the security and integrity of our services, or to comply with legal obligations.
